We are fun loving and friendly family of 4 with a dog, Charlie. We are active and sociable and enjoy welcoming aupairs to our home and showing them the UK! We are looking for someone who is firm but friendly and who will be happy walking the dog as well as doing some childcare around the school day. Host Mum does not work on Fridays so our aupair can have a long weekend every weekend. We can offer a lovely space for an aupair with their own large bedroom, bathroom and seating area on a seperate
We are excited to be looking for an aupair to care for our two children, Scarlett (aged 4) and Dominic (aged 8) from January 2017. We have had aupairs before and have always found that they have fitted easily into our family and our lives and have enjoyed their time with us. Scarlett and Dominic are fun and loving children and are used to being cared for by aupairs and nannies. They are flexible and whilst like all children they have their moments they are generally well behaved!. Both children attend a local school which is walking distance from the house. I work four days a week as a Marketing Director and James works full time for a large corporate in their strategy team. We both work hard but are also very much committed to our children and except on rare occasions one of us is always there to tuck them into bed and say goodnight.
Our perfect aupair is fun loving but firm, energetic, sociable and loves the outdoors. She also needs to be a pet lover as we have a loveable dog, Charlie who we would like the aupair to walk regularly. He is great company! We are a sociable, active family and live in a spacious house in Surbiton which is a short 15 minute train ride away from central London so perfect for any aupairs who are looking to explore London! The house has the advantage of also being a short walk from Kingston Upon Thames which is a lovely town with great shops, bars and restaurants as well as access to some of London's most historic parks including Richmond Park and Hampton Court Palace. We can offer our aupair accommodation on their own floor in the house including a double bedroom, bathroom and seating area. We will also make sure that the room is equipped with what-ever you'll need including wify!
We need someone who is keen to do about 20 hours of child care per week and is also willing to do regular dog walking and to do light house work. The hours/duties we are looking to cover are Modnay to Thursday 7.30am – 8.30am and then 3pm – 7pm. Our aupair would be responsible for walking the children to school in the morning and picking them up in the afternoon and then caring for them until we get home including supervising homework, playing with them and making their tea.
