Stay: from April 2017 - minimum 6 months but we hope 1-2 years.
Hours: 30 hours help per week, mainly evenings and weekends. Flexible to fit in English lessons and your activities.
Helping: Pick up the children, take them to activities (music, dance, swimming, sailing), play with them, do craft with them, tidy their rooms, wash them, prepare their clothes, babysit (2-3 nights per week). Help with light house work but we have a cleaner too. Walk the dog.
Spare time: Our friends have an au pair in the village and you will meet lots of our friends. Lots of activities to do - sailing, windsurfing, swimming, gym, fitness classes, dance classes, horse riding, film club, cinema, theatre. Pembrokeshire is beautiful - beaches, castles, wildlife.
Pay: £75 per week – all food and living expenses included - you will not need to spend money. Extra pay for gardening and cleaning the campsite. Other work available locally including Spanish teaching. Extra money during school holidays to help more with the children.
Car: Shared use – all petrol included. We need a confident driver and public transport is limited.
English lessons: available in Haverfordwest (1/2 hour drive) – group and individual available.
Accommodation: Large beautiful bedroom with TV, Wifi, own bathroom, within Nia's father's house (next door) – very independent.
Food: All meals – home cooked food using fresh ingredients – we love food!
Who we want: A flexible, confident, sociable, kind and gentle girl. It is essential that you are a confident driver - you need to drive a lot. A good cook. Interested in outdoor activities – sailing, swimming, walking and the natural environment. Clean and tidy. Someone with energy and drive - someone who likes to ‘get-up and do things'!
Time off: One full day off a week and most days before 4pm. 4 weeks paid holiday (when working for a full year).
Support: Help with learning English, help to set up a bank account and register with Doctor and Dentist – you are part of the family!
There is very little nightlife – if you want to go out clubbing at night then this is not the place for you!
