Aupair needed to care for 4yr old girl and occasionally 2yr old boy. Main duties are taking 4 yr old to school and back, some light housework and maybe preparing meals.
We are a family of 4- mum (36), dad(43), Alyssa (4) & Zac (2). We live in a nice 5-bed detached house in warrington, 30mins away from Liverpool and Manchester. We currently have an au pair from Taiwan but she will be leaving in Jan so we are looking for someone to take over as the big sister in the house after she leaves. We are of Chinese ethnicity, originally from Malaysia and Hong Kong with British nationality. We speak mainly English at home with some Cantonese.
Our house is conveniently located 10mins from Warrington town centre, close to bus stops, shops and schools. 30mins drive or train ride to Manchester or Liverpool and 2 hours train ride to London. Dad is a doctor (GP) and I(mum) work from home part time as Business Development manager so I'll be in the house most of the time, except when I have to travel for work
Our au pair will be expected to help look after the children and do some housework like vacuuming, loading and unloading dish washer and washing machine, tidy up after kids, Etc...
Preferably can cook but not necessary as I will do most of the cooking. You will have your own room with your own shower and toilet shared only with Alyssa. You will also have your own bicycle to use anytime you like and free wifi in the house.
We are looking to pay £80 per week with 4 weeks paid holiday a year. We prefer someone who can stay with us for at least a year so there's less disruption to the kids routine. A typical schedule would be as follows:
0730 get Alyssa ready for school and walk her to school at 0830. Free time whilst she's in school after some food preparation and tidying up kitchen. Collect from school at 1530 and give her milk. Then just accompany her and do some educational activities with her. If able to cook, help prepare family meals, we all have dinner together at 1730 and kids go to bed by 1900.
