A caring, kind, nurturing, patient, responsible live-in au pair needed by a family with two children in London. The children are 6 and 10.
We're a loving, fun and warm family who live in South west London very close to both Richmond park and Wimbledon common. We have two lovely girls who are 5 and 9. We will love to have someone who can be part of our family and provide a loving nurturing environment for our girls. My husband and I both work full time. I'll be working from home 2 - 3 days a week and he may also sometimes be at home. So there usually tends to be one or both of us at home. We do not smoke and do not have any pets. Our girls love to play with each other, but also with others and love engaging with people. They love having fun both indoors and outdoors especially in the parks around us and having a good laugh and exploring new activities. We are offering a live-in position, please only apply if you are interested in a live in position.
That's about us. Now about you; we need a caring, kind, nurturing, patient, fun, warm, enthusiastic type personality who is good with children, has had experience with them and able to get the best out of them. We would also like someone who is honest, responsible, thinks on their feet using their innitiative, follow simple instructions, reliable and with sufficient maturity to cope independently and takes great pride in being professional in her role. We also encourage asking questions if you're not sure about anything and communicating with us under any circumstance. We will provide you with your own room which should be kept clean and tidy and all your meals. You will also have your own toilet and bathroom, which may be shared by guests when they come which is not very often at all. You'll also have free wi-fi and a gym should you wish to use it. We need a non-smoker, someone who is prepared to also stay long term. Now a bit about the role; this will involve preparing simple meals, preparing the girls for the day and for bed, dropping off and picking them up. Good at organizing tasks that involve the girls and the home in general. Keeping the girls and the home neat and tidy, which will involve some general light housework, laundry and ironing for the kids. We already have a weekly cleaner.
Our daughters already have a general routine which they follow quite nicely. In terms of the role, it'll be to care for our girls preparing them for the day and giving them breakfast in the morning. They both go to school 5 days a week. After they have been picked up and brought home, they can have a relaxing time at home and do their homework / reading. This will be followed by an evening meal and their bedtime routine, preparing for the next day such as their snacks, uniforms, bags etc. If you are only interested in a Summer job then the routine will be different.
A weekly bus pass will be provided for you.
Please get in touch if you can start ASAP. Before starting i will need to see a recent medical certificate, police report, passport, drivers licence, certificates. If not all of this at least some of them. I know its quite a list. Preferably CRB checked or willing to do so and / or provide recent references.
