We are a Portuguese speaking family living in the Netherlands with three wonderful boys (Hugo born in August 2016); Artur (4 years) and Tomas (7 years). The two boys older boys go to school until 3pm and the baby will stay home. The work will consist of 30 hours per week and living with us. The work includes light housework and taking care of the boys. The boys speak Dutch and Portuguese, but if you don't speak Dutch it is important to have some knowledge of English to help you get by. The Au Pair will live with us for a period of 12 months. The Au Pair shall be given the opportunity to improve her education, in particular with regard to the host country's language by attending language classes, and to increase her general cultural development. We both work full time, but I work 4 days a week with Wednesdays being my day off. Both older kids are in school full time from 08:20 until 3pm, and some days they also have sports activities. both kids are quite energetic and love creativity and activity. As soon as we get home, we like to do things ourselves with the kids, so you are free. This includes weekends..We are looking for someone responsible and caring, being on time is important, that is comfortable with many kids around them, creative, mindful of health and is ok with eating everything. We also speak Portuguese around the house and we want someone that speaks the language, however they need some knowledge of English (or Dutch) to be able to communicate with other parents and get around.
