Dear Au Pairs,

My name is Elizabeth and I am an American with dual UK citizenship. I've lived in Cambridge since 2005 and both of my children, Mark (11) and Moses (8) have grown up here, so you can choose whether you prefer to develop an American or British accent in our family! I work full time as a professor teaching leadership development at a business school in London and Cultural Studies at Cambridge University. The boys' father, who is Russian, lives in Florence, Italy, so I'm looking for someone who can take the boys to school in the mornings and pick them up after school to take them to their after school clubs like karate and bring them home to do homework, have dinner, and hopefully have some time to play. I usually get home in the early evening and am happy for our au pair to have evenings and weekends free, as well as the hours when the boys are at school during the day. It is important that our au pair be able to drive. We live in a lovely English village populated with many Europeans very close to Cambridge and it's easy to bike in from our village (less than 3 miles), but in order to transport the boys around, one needs to drive. It would also be ideal if you can speak either German or Russian. The boys speak some Russian that they've learned from their father and Mark will be starting German lessons in September, so it would be wonderful to have someone who can help him with his first steps in German or help both boys continue to develop their Russian conversation. If you are kind, independent, curious, and have a good sense of humour, and you like boy energy, then I think you will be happy here!
