Kind, happy, responsible as pair sought to play and care for my little girl.
I am looking for a kind, reliable, responsible Aupair, who loves kids and helping them learn, to look after my 5 year old daughter.
We have a beautiful home and wonderful life and I look for someone who is happy and loves life to add to this. I look to the aupair to help whilst I am at work or out, to take a little stress out of my busy day by keeping my daughter happy, learning and safe until I get home. I am keen to find someone who is flexible, and with whom I can have a very nice and open relationship with.
I would prefer someone that is ambitious and active - with either a part-time job/internship/classes in the mornings when my daughter is at school (on the condition this in no way compromises the care/hours dedicated to my daughter).
Duties
- After picking my daughter up from school, she will be happy to play, go to friends, head to the park or one of the libraries.
- She will also need to do c.1 hour reading / homework with your support.
- You will also be expected to do some light cleaning of shared living space (vacuum, wipe, dust) and ensuring daughter cleans up her toys nightly.
Hours - c25hours per week and two evenings of childcare
- Morning: Odd school run in the morning if I have to head to work early (c. once every 2 weeks)
- Afternoon: Pick up from school at 3.20pm M-Th and 12.20pm F (home generally around 7-8pm)
- Evenings: 2 nights (will try advise couple days ahead of time and am generally flexible)
- School holidays: full days if I am not on holiday at same time (can plan these dates well in advance and she often visits grandparents during these times)
- Bank holidays and weekends: free other than above evenings
Compensation -
- GBP70 per week
- May join us for evening meals when we are home, but otherwise will be expected to purchase her own food
- a nice sized furnished room w/ strong wifi, beautiful window onto gardens, and own bathroom with bath
- apartment is in a lovely area in central London between Westminster and Chelsea, 3 min walk from the tube
Requirements -
- minimum till end of school year (early July 2017). Longer preferred.
- university/graduate student
- prior experience with children required (e.g. nanny, Aupair, sports coach, kindergarten)
- good level of English to support daughter with homework
- EU visa/citizenship
- Female over 20
- Non-smoker
