Nanny/Personal Assistant needed for Fun and very busy Expat Family, 2 children, 2 cats and a cute dog in sunny Dubai, United Arab Emirates. *TAX FREE SALARY*
A typical day and hours: We are looking for someone to help get our daughters ready for school in the morning. This includes ensuring their lunch boxes are ready, they have the correct uniform, and teeth are clean! Whilst they are at school, this is also your down time, and there is enough time for you to relax at home by the pool or in the gym, or explore Dubai. Usually one of us is around for part of the day but your responsibilities could include: Taking them to/picking them up from school and various classes/clubs such as gymnastics, street dancing, swimming, piano etc. The other important part of this role is ensuring all homework is completed as soon as they get home (otherwise they get distracted by the swimming pool and the internet) and the ideal Nanny for us will have some experience in, or will confident enough to tutor them. We ask that their dinners are prepared and that you ensure they are both showered and in bed at a reasonable time. You will have a maid to help you. As a working mum with my own company, I also need personal assistant help, which could include arranging meetings, conducting research and general administration. Just like Kim Kardashian was to Paris Hilton, before she became famous! Once the youngest is in bed the rest of the evening is your own. You can choose to spend the evening with us as you wish. We should not require your help at weekends, (except for occasional evening babysitting), and you are more than welcome to join us as a family, or use the time freely to pursue your own interests and explore Dubai and the Middle East. We are always playing sport (including skydiving!) or going to the movies, we are never at home! All Au pairs that live with us are subject to being fully referenced and under go police checks and we are more than happy for you to take references on us from our previous Nanny. Most importantly we'd like you to feel like part of the family!

However it is very important for any applicant and all residents/visitors to be mindful that this is a Muslim country and to be respectful of local laws and traditions. Therefore we are looking for an individual who is aware of these cultural nuances, who can dress/behave with modesty and appreciates that manners and being conservative is part of every day life, falling out of night clubs drunk, certainly isn't. (Although we do have some of the best, bars and nightclubs in the world!).
