We are a fun loving and active family living very close to central London in a comfortable house with a garden. We fully appreciate that going to London as an au pair is not just about the job - it is also an adventure and hopefully a time full of fun and new experiences. We want our au pair to enjoy her time in London (Happy au pair- happy family ; ) About us : The family consists of dad, from Greece (me), mum from Sweden (Carolina), 2 girls (9 & 11) and 2 boys (5 & 7). We are looking for some help with our daily life and children and if you are full of energy, organised and have some experience in looking after children and helping out with the household tasks, then we could be right for each other. We have a lot of experience from working with au pairs and the children are always very welcoming accordingly. We want our au pair to enjoy her time in London. Happy au pair- happy family ; ) All the children go to a local school. The girls don't really need any particular help, other than the occasional home work, plus some pick up and drop off to activities. They are unusually independent for their age. Expectations for the au pair duties includes looking a after the kids during the afternoons, after school, some times with their home-work. Walking or driving them to activities (we will practise driving in the UK if you are not used to it). Some ironing of kids clothes, some basic cooking, general tidying up of the kids things. Also, helping at bath time and sometimes accompanying the children to sports activities. We are looking for a person that who will consider staying for about 9 moths - year. Or longer if possible but we take can progress one day at the time. Max approx 30-35 hours per week + 2 possible baby sitting nights. All household bills and food are included, Plus a weekly salary of 100 GBP per week. We expect the au pair to be relatively independent, efficient, and confident with children.
