We are a friendly and relaxed family looking for a confident and warm nanny/au pair to look after our lovely 6 year old and 11 year old twins.

We are a friendly and relaxed family looking for a warm, caring, fun and confident nanny/au pair who really loves children to take care of our 11 year old boy/girl twins and 6 year old little girl. I am an Associate Professor of English so I will be teaching - hopefully back in person in the autumn - and sometimes working from home. My husband does a mixture of freelance work in education and journalism, largely from home. The job involves helping with breakfast, taking our youngest to school at the bottom of the road, collecting her from school and helping with dinner, homework supervision and after school activities. There will be plenty of free time for you to pursue independent study, other interests or simply explore and enjoy London. Our son is coeliac so requires gluten free food to be carefully prepared. We have a cleaner but would also like you to keep on top of everyday cleanliness and tidiness of play and eating areas and help with children's laundry.
During the week, we may sometimes ask if you can babysit in the evening and will ask for some weekend babysitting but would try to arrange this at a convenient time for you and would give plenty of notice if there was something important on a weekend. We would also like you to provide childcare through half term and longer school holidays. We would like your holidays to be taken at an agreed time in University holidays.

The job is open ended and we would ideally like someone who could stay at least a year. We could offer a salary of £600 per month. We live in a nice area of North London with lots of green space and good transport connections and local cafes etc. You would also have your own room with wifi/ tv, ensuite toilet, all meals and bills included and would only share your bathroom with the children.
