Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

SAFETY WARNING: if you see any contact details below, DO NOT CONTACT THIS FAMILY but report it to us! It might be a scammer who will ask you for money.

We live in London, in a nice and green part of North London with easy access to Central London, and due to work commitments would need help with our 9-year old daughter.

Dear Au-pair,
we are looking for a friendly, bright and serious au-pair to help with our 9-years old daughter, Alexandra.

We have had several au-pairs before, over the past 8 years, who always stayed longer than initially thought!- we got on really well! Our current au-pair found a teaching job in London, so here we are looking for our new one!

We are looking for somebody who's friendly and calm, a tidy and clean person, flexible and reliable. We also love people who take the initiative and can be proactive about what help is needed.

We live in a nice, quiet and green part of North London with easy access to Central London. We live close to our daughter's school, within walking-distance, the same for all the after school activities, so no driving required.

Alexandra is a sweet and good-natured girl, she is now 9.5yrs old, so looking after her is fairly easy.

The au-pair responsibilities would be:
- dropping off and collecting from school
- take child to after-school activities
- prepare healthy food, school lunch box, snacks
- supervise, help and guide child with homework
- organise various activities with/for the child: like going to the playground, organise playdates, playing games, reading, baking, doing arts and crafts
- keep child's clothes/shoes clean, laundry/iron clothes, fold and put back in the wardrobe
- keep tidy and well organised child's bedroom and play area, kitchen and living area
- light housework duties (laundry, loading/unloading dishwasher, keeping kitchen clean and tidy, ironing, dusting, some grocery shopping, etc.). There is a cleaning lady coming weekly for the main cleaning.
- babysitting in the evening (occasionally)

The position would require up to 35hrs a week, with babysitting maybe once a week, and occasionally on the weekend. The 35 hours is made up of both childcare and light housework. Hours would be roughly 7.30-9/10am and then 3.30–7/8pm, not every day but you would need to be flexible.

Accommodation is in a large, separate bedroom, also own bathroom. WiFi available.
