Portuguese or German speaking nanny/au pair wanted by a Brazilian/German family with 2 lovely children and a cat. We have recently moved from London to the beautiful Kent coast and are looking for a kind and loving person to take care of our kids and help with some house work.

Dear nannies and au pairs,

We are Judith and Glauco from Folkestone on the beautiful Kent coast. We have two lovely and very happy children, a 5.5 year old girl and a 9 months old boy. Our daughter's name is Clara and she loves meeting new people, dancing, painting, reading and playing with her baby brother. Daniel is a very cute little boy who smiles all day and only ever cries when he is hungry. Clara has been with a childminder and in nursery since she turned one and has always enjoyed the experience. Daniel is as sociable as his sister so they will quickly bond with the right person.

Clara is at school from 8.40am to 3.15pm and attends swimming and gymnastics lessons twice a week (at present). Daniel will keep you entertained during the day, both at home and at several lovely play groups we will introduce you to. This is a great way to meet other people and practice your English whilst the little one plays.

We don't require much babysitting in the evening (1-2 evenings max a week, usually less) which means that you are free to enjoy these as you wish. On your days off (usually Saturday and Sunday) you can enjoy walks at the beach, trips into London (55-80 minutes on the train) or Canterbury (40 minutes on the bus) or relax in your nice room at home.

My husband Glauco is originally from Brazil, works in IT and in his spare time plays and builds his own guitars. I am German, work in HR in London and enjoy meeting friends, dancing and reading whenever I get some time to myself. After over 12 years in London we now enjoy living in a smaller, more relaxed and very beautiful town by the sea. We have a big, typically English house, which we lovingly renovated over the past 6 months.

Our language at home is Portuguese with some German and English thrown in. We would like our nanny/au pair to speak in Portuguese with our children. There will, however, be more than enough opportunities to practice your English too.
