Au pair needed for lively outgoing family, with 2 children, and our animals . An enjoyment of the countryside and sport a bonus.

Hi, We are the Traynor's we are an easy going family. We have two bright fun loving children. Gemma is 17 and Callum 16.I run my own events company and regularly work abroad spending weeks at a time overseas away from home. We have always had nannies from when the children were young. The children's main nanny was with our family for 6 years and still a family friend. Since the children were 9 we have had six au pairs each staying with us for around 18 months.(always longer than they intended on arrival!!) I do want to stress that while we are only a half hour train ride from the city we are very much in the countryside. We respect the role our au pair plays in our family.
Care of the house and dogs will be a big part of the role. But as the children are older this gives you far more flexibility with your time. Ideal for someone also looking to study while in the UK
Gemma loves photography, music and netball, and spending time with her friends. Callum lives for sport of any kind , rugby being how we spend most weekends!!
Both of the children go to school each day during term time, Callum boards at his school three nights a week, but needs dropping and collecting the other days. Gemma, takes herself to and from school. Our dog need regularly walking which is a pleasure in the country side around us. We have two dogs and our Labrador puppy needs alot of exersise!!
Our au pair has her own room/sitting room, full time use of a car and cloakroom. There are always different children in and out of the house as the children regularly have sleep overs, spending hours in the grounds, in the sauna and generally being kids!!
We are lucky that while we are in the country we are only 7 mins drive to the station and a 25min train ride into London. We are 20 mins drive from Bluewater (Europe's largest shopping centre) 35 min drive to the language college, which is next to Gemma's school. There is a large au pair community in the wider area, with lots of groups.
It is very important that you do understand that we do need someone who is happy to do housework, ironing and the chores, care of animals as well as caring for the children. It is a very flexible role.

I hope you are interested please contact me for more information.
