A bright, fun and Au Pair to help an active professional family with one small child from JANUARY, FEBRUARY or MARCH 2017. We have an energetic, happy and absolutely gorgeous 7year old boy. We are a kind, calm, loving and happy little family. Elliot, our son is at School Most days you will be free to enjoy the UK.
We are Emma and Colin from Warwickshire, UK. Emma was born and raised in UK, Colin is originally from Canada, but was born in Australia to British parents!
As mentioned in the profile, Elliot is at school. Most days you will be free to enjoy the UK. Elliot will need taking to the School bus stop (a short walk) and collecting on days when we have to travel within the UK for our jobs. He will need caring for during some school holidays. We are an easy going family. A maximum of 3 evenings a week we will need babysitting or taking care of Elliot until we get home from work, and help keeping the house in good shape. We both generally work from home 2-3 days per week other days we travel into London to the office. We may each go overseas for a few days mid-week but not together.
Where we live is a beautiful, friendly Regency town called Royal Leamington Spa where there are plenty of things to do and some lovely parks. Leamington is north of Oxford close to Warwick and Stratford Upon Avon with a fast train line to London (the station is walking distance). The town was mainly built in the early 1800's due to the dicovery of mineral springs and built its reputation as a tourist and spa town. This period gave the town its classic architecture and layout with many parks and gardens with a river running through the middle. Today Leamington is a shopping centre for the region with a lively nightlife. We live in the centre of Leamington but in a quiet area and almost everything is within walking distance so it's very convenient. We live in a lovely Regency 4 story town house. Accommodation would be on the top floor where you would have your own bathroom and bedroom.
We have had six lovely Au Pairs in the last five years. We consider ourselves now experienced as a host family. We are open minded.
We would treat our new au pair like a member of the family and we offer excellent rates of pay.
