We need an Au Pair for our 4 children in Magdeburg. We are a married couple of age 40.

Welcome to our family! We live in central Germany, next to Berlin, Hamburg and Hanover. We have traveled a lot ourselves (Australia, Sweden, Egypt, Oman, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Morocco, France, England, Finland, Russia, Poland, ...), but have become sedentary in recent years and would like to pass on our life, our culture and our everyday life to others now.

We are looking for an au pair that supports us mainly with childcare: reading to the small ones, push them in a stroller for a while to get into sleep, accompanying the larger ones to their leisure activities, small household grants, ... but first and foremost the au pair should really feel like a full member of our family. And yes: we all fit in our big car! :o)

The best would be if we have a skype call, Google Hangout or Whatsapp video chat! Then you will get to know our house and the area in which you will hopefully feel comfortable. If you like your parents can join this call, no worries!

We offer:
- cozy big city
- other major cities can be reached in about 1-2 hours
- Good traffic connections (5 min to bus stop, only 15 min by bike into city center (would take longer with public transport)
- a large pool (140 cm deep) in summer
- Cross country skiing in winter (if there is snow...)
- Free high-speed internet, if necessary also an iPad or notebook
- private bedroom with private bathroom with private entrance
- an interested family and dear children; o)

It would be nice if you speak a little German, but that's not a must-have. In any case, you should speak English so that we can communicate well. Our older children learn English in school and should understand that. The little ones only understand German and sign language. ;o)

Typical tasks would be:
- Help with setting and clearing the table, helping with cooking, cleaning out the dishwasher
- Fold laundry
- use the vacuum cleaner if necessary, e.g. under the dining table after eating
- Push the stroller to get kids to sleep
- play with the young children
- Accompany the older children to their hobbies (if you have a driver's license - that would be great!)
- Help with shopping
- Supervise children in the event of a short absence
