We are a friendly Hungarian step-family, 2 hospital doctors with 4 children. We are looking for a lovely au pair to help around our family.
Me and my partner, Adam are hospital doctors. We have four children. My older daughter, Bori is 14, my older son, Levi is 13, they both attend secondary school. Our twins, Luci and Daniel are 3,5 years old, they attend day-care 4 days a week.
We live in a 5-bedroom house where you will have your own bedroom and a shared bathroom with the twins. Our house is on the hillside with lovely views over the sea and the town and woods on the other side with many squirrels and birds visiting us regularly.
Luci and Dani love playing outside using their little bikes or bouncing on the trampoline. They love walking to the park, feeding squirrels or going down to the beach. Luci is a little princess who loves crafts, colouring and reading. Dani is an active boy who loves to be funny and play football.
Bori and Levi are more independent, they go to school by school bus and have many friends. They are very friendly and very happy with the idea of having an “older sister” in the house.
Weston-super-Mare is a seaside town in the South-West of England. There are lots of tourists every summer and over the weekends.
In walking distance from our house:
- 10 min: town centre, shops, supermarket, 2 cinemas, park with playgound
- 15 min: sandy beach, train station, coach station
Closest city with international airport: Bristol (30 min by train)
Places to visit nearby: Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells, Bath, etc.
We will need help mostly around the twins. Your job will be
- to look after the twins
- to take them to and back from day-care
- to get their lunchboxes ready
- to play with them in the afternoon
- to manage their bedtime routine
- to do evening babysitting
- to do light housework.
We would prefer you had a driving licence.
We offer you £80/week for up to 30 hours work per week. If you attend language course we are happy to support that with an extra £20/week. We are able to let you know your exact working hours at least 7 days in advance.
You will have free time when the twins attend pre-school or childminder (Mon 9-3:30, Tue 9-5, Wed 9-3:30, Thu 9-5). We can give you two free days every week.
We had au-pairs 4 years ago when we moved to the UK. That`s why we know it may be challenging for someone to settle down in a new country and new family. We are very happy to support you and help you find your way. This has to be a fantastic experience for you just like for us!
