We are a Swedish family, living in Malta, who are looking for a responsible, positive and confident girl to take care of our two wonderful children. Our children are 6 and 7 years old and we need help with getting the kids ready and driving them to school in the morning, as well as picking them up and caring for them until my husband and I get home from work. The job also include some light housework, cooking for yourself and the children, helping out with homework, taking the kids to activities and to babysit occasionally in the evening. You will need to have a driver's license. We don't have any pets or smoke.
We live in a large house with it's own pool in an area called Madliena. We are very close to St Julian's, Paceville and Sliema, which offers shopping, restaurants, cinema and bars. Our house has a separate flat, where our au-pair lives. The flat has it's own entrance, living room, bedroom and bathroom.
We are looking for a positive, energetic and confident girl who has experience of caring for young children. You will need to have a driver's license as you will need to drive the kids to and from school as well as drive them to their activities or friends.
Our au-pair helps us to get the kids ready and to school in the mornings and is then free until the kids needs to be picked up in the afternoon. My husband and I get home between 5.30 and 6pm in the evening, at which point we take over.
We have a cleaner, but we expect our au-pair to help us keep the house and the flat tidy. We occasionally need help with the food shopping, hang laundry or run an errand during the week.
