We are a fun loving, Christian family who live in West London. Both parents grew up in South Africa and have been in UK for 19 years, I (Ashley) work from home most of the time and am looking for someone who would help taking the children to their schools and other activities, playing at home with them, some housework and some cooking. Our girl (6)is in school everyday from 8.30/9 until 3.15. Our little boy (3) will be at nursery 5 mornings a week. We live right next door to a very large park that is a great place for the children to scoot and cycle. West London is a beautiful, leafy part of London. Very easy to access central London by tube. Our current au pair (who is our first) is happy to provide a reference on us. We have loved having her, and she has really enjoyed her time in London. She will be leaving at the end of June, so looking from a new au pair from then.

The qualities we seek in an au pair are that they love children, are fun, fair, honest and reliable. You need to be fun, but also firm and ideally be fairly fluent in English.

If you are keen on arts, crafts, cooking, baking, dance and singing then it would be advantageous as our kids enjoy participating in these.

I like a tidy and organised household so would love someone who is organised and loves to keep things tidy.

Weekends will generally be free. We will require at least one, but sometimes two nights babysitting a week.

We offer a very supportive family who will ensure that you feel at home.

You will have a lovely bright double bedroom, which has a huge balcony overlooking the park, (and a tv) a bathroom next to your room which you will share with the children and Ashley's office can be used as your own living room in the evenings. We love our au pairs to feel part of the family but really appreciate a bit of alone time in the evenings so having your own living room is a great benefit. You can use our wifi and we will provide you with a UK mobile phone.
