Hi all au pairs!

We are looking for an easy going, energetic and reliable au pair to join our family. I work full time in marketing and looking for someone to help out with my two girls Florence (11 years) and Alice (10 years). The girls are very independent and so the childcare component will not be hugely taxing! It will mainly entail school drop offs/pick ups (full use of my car), taking them to after school sports, homework, play dates and some food preparation. We've had previous nannies who the girls (and I!) have really bonded with, so it would be great if we can find someone who loves this age group and can relate to them and be a positive role model. The girls would love someone who is fun, creative and talkative (their order and description!) and i'm looking for reliability, honesty, openness and an easy going/friendly personality. And if you like pigs it's a bonus as Alice is pig obsessed!

We live in a great 4 bedroom house with a pool in one of Sydney's most popular beach suburbs called Balgowlah. Manly beach is 10 mins drive, we are 20 mins drive from the CBD and have lots of great shops and restaurants within walking distance of our home. Your room will have a double bed with a TV and you'll share a bathroom with the girls. We also have two cute cats - Gandalf and Toffee.

As well as the child care (estimated around 20 hours max per week) I will need 2 hours of ironing and 2 hours of cleaning. We are very neat and tidy though so it won't be hard to maintain!

We are very excited about welcoming someone into our family as soon as we can and will be flexible about giving you plenty of time to experience the wonderful Australian lifestyle. And yes the sun really does shine here for most of the year!!
