Introduction of the family offering the au pair / nanny job:

We are looking for an aupair to stay with our family to help with the children and support my husband and I running the house. We don't expect hours to be long during term time but may be longer during school holidays

You must be able to help with the following things;
- Able to support my children with homework (You should have good qualifications in both english and maths as a minimum and feel confident to help with all junior school work)
- You should be able to make simple healthy well balanced meals for the children
- You should like working with children and be able to organise nice days out or activities at home
- You must have a clean driving license as you will need to drive the children to school and various clubs etc.
- You should be available for babysitting. (1 or 2 evenings per week)
- We have a weekly cleaner but I would expect you to be able to keep the house clean and tidy during the week (put a vacuum around if needed, clean up after mealtimes, help kids put things a

- A real advantage would be someone who would be happy to support with other chores e.g. buy gifts / presents, file paperwork, drop off to dry cleaners or post office, walk dog etc.
- You must be living in the UK already and be available for an interview
- You must have references

What we can offer:
We are based on the Surrey / Sussex borders very close to Gatwick. Central London can be reached in about 30mins by train. We live in a lovely rural location (which is also why you must me able to drive). My husband and I both work and we have 2 beautiful girls and a cat and a dog. We live next door to a livery so would be ideal for someone that loves riding and the countryside.

We offer a bedroom and a bathroom that you would share with the children. We have wifi in the house. We also supply a car for your use while you stay with us. We have had a couple of lovely aupairs and we will include you within the family as much as we can but again we would respect your free time and privacy if you prefer. We have had very good relationships with all our past au pairs / nannies and I'm sure they would also be happy to provide a reference about what it is like living with us.

Local language courses are available at a local college and is a great way of meeting friends. We also know of other aupairs staying with other families.

We offer £100 per week
