Do you love the outdoors, hanging out at the beach, have always wanted to try surfing but never had the chance? Would you prefer to have independent accommodation than to live-in with the family? We are an active family with 3 wonderful children, living on the coast in France with the beach at our feet looking for someone who will love this beautiful corner of France as much as us. We are an English/French bilingual family living on the coast in the most beautiful part of Brittany (France), looking for a caring English OR French speaking au pair to look after three school age children - age 4, 8 and 11.
In term time the au pair's role is primarily to pick up the children from school, take them to after school activities, supervise homework, prepare the evening meal and put them to bed. The au pair will also help with laundry for the children, tidying up after the children and generally keeping the house clean. As all three children are at school, you will have plenty of free time during the day to enjoy this beautiful part of France.
You will be provided with independent accommodation in a flat just a few minutes walk from the house offering privacy on evenings and weekends.
We live in a beautiful part of Brittany, on the coast. The house and flat have beautiful views overlooking the beach and port respectively. As there are numerous beautiful beaches here, this position would someone someone who loves the outdoors and the sea with opportunities for sailing, surfing, open water swimming, cycling, walking etc.
We currently have a live-in nanny who can provide a reference if required.
We are looking for someone who meets the following minimum requirements: - A good command of English (preferred) OR French. - Prior experience with children not required but preferred. - Current Disclosure and Barring Service/CRB check, casier judiciaire vierge or equivalent in country of origin - At least two references from previous jobs - Non-smoker - Driver's licence
