Come and live in a Tudor Palace! We are a fun and busy family of six just moved from London to an enormous 15th century house and grounds in a Tudor English village. We've had wonderful experiences of hosting au pairs and are looking for someone new to join our family. You should be a very competent person who is confident with children, calm and organised and up for helping to run a big household. Would suit someone who has experience of looking after two or more children and who has an interest in history, education, art and literature and wants access to the joys of London without living in the city.

I work in the city and often travel to London and Paris although I try to be home as much as possible. Ed is a novelist. So we are a family who loves books and reading and learning. We are all taking music lessons. The children have just started a new school which is a short walk through the village each day. They are so excited to have a big garden! And they are making lots of new friends. We have very friendly neighbours in the village with children and au pairs. The children are at school between 8.40 and 3.15 every day, so you'll have some time to yourself. And they go to bed at 7.15. At the weekend Ed and I look after the children so you'd have the weekends free to explore the countryside, go to the local market towns, or pop into London which is a very easy 40 min train ride. You'd have you're own lovely room and use of the rest of the house of course.
We are offering £140 pocket money a week and your bed and board will be covered. If you can drive we can also arrange for you to be covered on our car insurance. I look forward to meeting you! Emma
