Outdoorsy Nanny/Au-pair needed for two girls, 16 and 10 years old. Location: Mariestad, Sweden.
Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Nanny/Au-pair who loves spending time with two very happy girls! Stella and Vilda are 10 years and 16 years old. Own spacious room provided within mum's luxurious home. Sole charge as mum works full time. Fantastic travel opportunities to their summer homes in Gran Canaria and South Africa
We are looking for a new permanent live-in Overseas Nanny/Au-pair for our two daughters, aged 10 years and 16 years old. Mum works full time, so the position is sole charge. The parents: mum, Sophie and Kristofer (dad) are no longer together but our homes are a 15-minute walk from each other. The girls alternate week by week between us and are very happy and outgoing children. The Nanny/au-pair is required to work a maximum of 35 hours per week. This will include Nanny duties, doing the family laundry/ironing, and cleaning. Our home is located near a lake and a forest, so this is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, going for walks in the forest, etc. The family has a dog and also need some help with walking the dog.
Fantastic accommodation provided, as the Nanny/au-pair will have her own bedroom and sharing bathroom with Vilda 10-year-old, a cosy sitting area with TV just outside bedroom, fast wireless internet. The family travels a lot, both on business trips and for vacation. Vacation travel is mostly to their homes in Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, and their home in a private game reserve in South Africa. This is an excellent opportunity for some luxury travel!
Stella is just finishing grade 9 at Junior High with highest mark and Vilda is in grade 3. When they aren't at school the girls love arts and crafts, playing with their dog, going for walks in the forest, etc. A confident swimmer is essential, as the girls love to swim when on holiday!
Mum owns a business and business dinners are held at her home for important business people. It's essential that the Nanny/Au-pair be well presented and well spoken, who can be on hand to help mum. Speaking to and assisting the guests is part of what is expected. All nursery duties required, cooking, helping around the house, etc.
Mum has founded a philanthropic foundation (www.looffoundation.org) who helps many poor people around the world. Interest and previous experience in charity work is highly desirable and meritorious.

Coming from one of the largest cities in America, Mariestad was a huge change for me; One change that I LOVE! Mariestad is small & quaint, settled next to a beautiful lake. Walking/biking trails run all through the town & the people here really do take advantage of the outdoors. There are a few bars/clubs in town. I am not a party girl, but going out with my friends here is so much fun & different from the big city back home. After living in Mariestad for a few months, people started to recognize me & now every time I am in town I see someone I know. This is the aspect about small town living that I find to be wonderful!
