Gold Coast family seeks a kindhearted Au pair to help our family wrangle two funny, energetic children aged 1 and 3!
Hello there,
We are Melissa and Teddy from the Gold Coast, Queensland. We have two energetic but positively delightful children aged 3 and 14 months; their names are Noah and Charlotte.
Noah and Charlotte are both at preschool three days each week - on these days their lovely grandmother picks them up and takes care of them until we arrive home from work. She is really active in their lives and they both adore her.
On the remaining two weekdays that the children don't attend preschool, we'd like for you to care for them. They are happy children, who love simple things like playing, dancing, splashing in our pool, going to the park or just hanging out. Smiles, kind words of encouragement and lots of cuddles are what makes our littlest family members tick.
We don't require much babysitting in the evening which means that you are free to enjoy this time as you wish (as well as weekends and the days that the children are at preschool!). You'll have plenty of time to explore the gorgeous Gold Coast - we are just a few minutes drive from beaches and everything the coast has to offer.
Teddy is a sales rep with an ice cream company and works quite long hours, but enjoys every minute he can with the children including swimming lessons each Saturday. He's a lovely man who understands and embraces the gift that a family is.
I am a brand manger with the region's destination marketing organisation - a job that keeps me super busy and in need of an extra pair of hands to keep our household happy! Like Teddy, our babies are everything to me and when I'm not working I'm spending time being crazy with them. We are a pretty relaxed family and our home is child centric.
