Hi, we are a bilingual French/Irish family living in a seaside town in Brittany.
We have only one child still at home, and a dog, so the level of actual child minding is small, but work commitments mean that we are both likely to be away from home three days/two nights a week (Mon-We'd). We are looking for someone who can be there just to ensure that homework is done, that bedtime is at a reasonable hour etc for those days, and to complete that with a small/medium amount of housework, depending

We are an easy going family, with two older children away from home for their studies in Paris. Ideally we'd like someone who's German, Japanese or Russian-speaking, since our son is already bilingual English and French, is studying German in school, has done some Russian and is interested in learning Japanese, but the language spoken is not essential.
We're in a smallish town, so being able to drive would be useful to you for getting around, but there are bus and train services, so again, not essential, but you would have to know that it's not London or Paris!
On the other hand, we have the sea only 10 minutes walk away, less than 5 minutes by car, and you could be entirely free for up to four days a week (from Thurs until Sunday) if preferred.
