An active down to earth family with a lot of love!
Hej!
We're a family of four, including a boy named Valter, born in February 2012, and a girl named Greta, born in March 2014.
We are just about to move to a beautiful house in Malmö, in southern Sweden, just on the other side of the water from Copenhagen in Denmark (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malmö).
We're an active family with a lot of energy! We love playing, cooking and running, in general we live a healthy lifestyle.
We're a very loving, caring and warm family. We care a lot of animals (even if we don't have any right now) and the environment. Since 2012 we are full out lacto ovo vegetarians, but don't mind if you're not.
We are looking for an au pair girl aged 20 to 30, preferably from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zeeland, United Kingdom or USA, and native English speaking.
We are looking for someone with a creative mind, outgoing, full of humor and drive.
Greta and Valter has been attending International pre-school and we have had an Au pair from USA before, so they both understand English at their respective levels.
There are several universities in the area and if the schedule would work, we see no problems in combining Au pairing with studies, on the contrary, we encourage it.
We expect you to take care of Valter and Greta when it comes to taking them to and from Kindergarten in the morning and afternoon.
We expect you to do some light household tasks like give the children food in the morning and afternoon, put dishes in the dish washer and clothes in the washing machine.
A typical day would probably be:
-Taking care of Greta and Valter in the morning (from 6-8 am). Giving them food,
putting on clothes and taking them to kindergarten.
-Taking care of Valter and Greta in the afternoon (from 4-6 pm). Picking them up from Kindergarden, giving them food and preparing them for bedtime.
We want to spend as much time as possible with the kids of course, but would also want to have the flexibility to do other activities (like going to the movies, restaurants or working out) or work (maybe an evening per week) when possible.
In short, we're looking for flexibility.
