au pair needed by a family with 2 gorgeous children of 6 and 10. We want an english speaker because it is important for us that our children hear and learn english as often as possible.
our family is great ;-) The children are really nice and easy. We live in one of the most beautiful areas in France, in the South, at 20 kms of Toulon. It is one of the most touristic one in France. We have 2 different houses; one in Le Pradet in front of the sea where we live mostly 10 months a year, and one in Carqueiranne, in our camping-site where we stay during the whole summer (for professional reasons).
The children are going to school until the beginning of July. They have 2 months of holidays and go back to school in September.
Victor speaks and understands quite well English. He learned it from 2 to 5 years old in an English school. Jeanne has some English lessons every week but only understands a few words.
I work at the airport of Toulon-Hyeres in business aviation. My husband is the director of a campsite. I help him there as often as I can.
With the children, we try to do a lot of activities. Life is easy here, we have a lot of possibility to play and visit. The beaches are just at 3 kms from the campsite.
Also, the children's grandparents are living around us, and spend a lot of time with them. In summer, they spend 2 weeks of Holiday with them, so you will be free to do whatever you want during this time.
We are looking for an au pair to take care of the children when we work. The driving license is really needed. You will have your own automatic car.
The children really need someone who will be like a big sister, who will play or organize some games or activities and not only have a look on them.
At the campsite, you will have your own caravan which is out (but near) the house (it is all equiped, it looks like a small flat - bed, sofa, a/c, bathroom, kitchen, terrace).
If you want to learn french, the deal is that you speak only english to the children, but we only speak french to you.Trust me, all the au pair girls we had before really improved their french after only a few weeks.
