We are looking for a fun, active and committed young woman to come and live in our London house and help to look after our beautiful girls and become one of the family whilst experiencing London and the UK.
We are looking for a fun and caring young lady who can work around 21-28 hours per week. The prime role is to look after our beautiful little girls Aria 3.5 yrs) and her newly arrived little sister Ava. Aria is a very chatty, clever, active little girl who loves to do art and crafts, read books, run, climb, swim and generally be out and about, Ava (so far!) is a pretty relaxed baby whose main focus is eating and sleeping as new babies tend to do!
Other help required is just to keep the kitchen clean and tidy and keep on top of laundry (no ironing), and keeping on top of the kids toys etc. making sure things are kept tidy. There may also be the need to prepare some food, and you will certainly need to make up bottles for the little one. We have a cleaner who comes once a week so no major cleaning required.
Both Sarah and I are professionals working in London and other parts of the country. We live in Greenwich, (London), and our house backs onto a beautiful park. The area is wonderfully quiet but only 25 minutes from Central London, but there is also plenty to do and see in and around Greenwich itself. We are quite an active family, with a love of sport and being in the great outdoors as much as we can.
We would like someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, is able to swim and speak english fluently. It isn't necessary for you to be able to drive as getting around London on public transport is really easy and quite cheap, (of course any travel expenses incurred as part of your role would be covered by us). Ideally we would like someone who has experience with babies and their needs, and it goes without saying that any potential candidate will need to be extremely responsible.
Hours will be 3 or 4 days a week, Monday - Thursday from 7am until usually around 4pm with the occasion longer day if our work needs suddenly change. A degree is flexibility is required as both our jobs can have sudden changes in hours or demands, so we need someone who can accommodate this and be available for our daughters if we are unable. This usually only happens every month or two. Also the occasional evening babysitting.
You will get a great double room that has one of the best views of the park, with plenty of storage for clothes etc. We have internet access through the house . The family bathroom will be yours shared with the children with large double shower, bath sink etc, as Sarah and I have our own. All your food and drink and expenses are included and between £80 to £120 a week pocket money, depending on how many hours are worked.
You would be our third Au Pair, the first stayed with us for two years and both of whom are happy to talk to you and tell you more about what it is like to live and work with us. We want the succesful candidate to be with us for at least 1 year, so please only contact us if you are able to commit to that.
