Nous recherchons une fille au pair francophone. Connaissances de base en anglais utiles, mais pas nécessaires.
We are looking for a nice au pair to help making life easier for our two boys and ourselves when mummy goes back to work (part time). We would be keen on speaking/ learning French with you.
Hi! We are both teachers (Daddy at secondary/ adult training level, building up a new job and mummy at the primary school in the village next door).
Our two sons are full of ideas to keep us busy :-) We are looking for a caring, fun-loving but also reliable and responsible person. Our five year old especially likes anything to do with crafting (he loves his little projects) and our two and a half year old is actively exploring the whole world around him.
From September, our eldest will go to Kindergarten 2 and our youngest will start pre-school, both in the local school. We would need your help during weekday lunch times, as the children come home to eat and also during a couple of hours during the day for childcare or to help with the household chores. We will be able to define our needs more precisely once mummy has her teaching timetable for next school year. Generally, a little bit of flexibility will be expected from you, as our own work needs may not be exactly the same each week. You should certainly - excepted maybe once a week - have the evenings off, e.g. to take evening classes if you wish to.
Dudelange is a charming town offering quite a diverse cultural program throughout the year. The train station is a short walk away and there are trains to Luxembourg city every half hour (We have a car but regularly use public transport).
We are lucky to live in a spacious house and would love to share it with somebody.
Although we are an English and Luxembourgish speaking household, we would be keen to speak in French to you. Daddy needs to improve his French as quickly as possible for professional reasons and we assume that the children will pick up a lot of language if they get on well with you. We are somehow flexible on the starting date, but we would like you to have been with us for a couple of months before school starts in September, so that we know the kids and you are able to get on with each other. We would of course help you with any language class you may wish to take (e.g. German or English). Luxembourgish is a real language melting pot, you will constantly hear many different languages around you!
