Hi, we are Paul and Liz from Australia. We're looking for an au pair with a great attitude and sense of humour to come and stay with us and help look after our 4 year old daughter Charlotte, and our 2 year old daughter Madeleine.

Hi we are Paul and Liz from Brisbane Australia. We're looking for an au pair with a great attitude and sense of humour to come and stay with us and help look after our 4 year old daughter Charlotte and 2 year old daughter Madeleine.

We live in Brisbane, Australia, in a nice area very close to the city with easy access via public transport. Brisbane is a sub-tropical climate with great sunny outdoor weather most of the year. There are plenty of outdoor activities both in Brisbane and the surrounding areas including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and islands just off the coast. Byron Bay is also a couple of hours away.

We're looking for a friendly, social au pair who is able to become part of the family, a little more mature, early-to-mid 20's at minimum, flexible, with a good sense of humour. Cooking a meal 1-2 times a week is a plus, and speaking French or Italian would also be great but is not a necessity. We really need someone who would be able to stay with us for an extended period of time rather than just 2 or 3 months.

We are keen that you really enjoy your experience in Australia. We like that the au pairs become part of the family. We have not had a bad experience yet with our au pairs. We offer your own room in your own house next door to ours for maximum privacy in a quiet street. This house is fully furnished with air conditioning. There is a television in the lounge room and also in your bedroom. The bathroom is shared with the other room which is vacant at this stage but a flat mate may come along. This is ideal for more mature au pairs and gives you some flexibility to socialise.

We're a professional couple, we both work pretty hard and we enjoy maximising our relaxation time away from work as well. In our spare time we like to go out to dinner or entertain so there is often someone over for a coffee, although a new small addition may change things a little but hopefully not too much!
