Hanna, 22, Au Pair/ Nanny/ babysitter/ Tutor from France, looking for a job startinf from 1 January 2022, Curious, adaptative and independant person who likes to learn from other's culture and share mine

Hi ! I was born in Paris but I grew up in a town on the French west coast (La Rochelle). Currently I'm living in Paris since four years for my studies. My parents and my little brother (19 yo) are still living in La Rochelle.

I'm currently doing a master in journalism and communication in Paris (Paris 8 University). Before that I did a bachelor in a similar cursus but with a speciality about african langages and civilisations (INALCO). In terms of proffessional experiencies, I was a french teacher in Senegal during 1 month when I was 18, During my frist year of studies I was in a association that was helping children whith their homeworks and orientation, I used to babysit children during two years aside of my studies. I was helping them with their homework, supervising their evening schedule (shower, homework, bedtime), preparing dinner for them and doing activities with them like playing board games or teaching them piano and drawing. But I was also learning a lot from them, for exemple about mangas and animes because they're big fans of japanese culture, and the youngest taught me how to play chess. Two years ago I did an intership in an association that facilitates the integration of migrants so I was giving french lessons to some of theme and my other mission was to supervise and propose sports and cultural activities. I have a little brother so when I lived with my parents I was used to looking after him and cooking for him.

I really want to experience being Au Pair (or being a nanny, babysitter, tutor) because I would love to discover a country in East Asia, a part of the world that I have never visited before and there is nothing better than being with a local family to learn everything about the culture and visit what I need to see. I also love to share my own culture and langage. An important thing for me is to speak english during my stay so I also can be interested in offers in Austalia, New Zeland, South Africa and United States. I'm a very independant, adaptable and curious person, always ready to learn and meet new people. So my goal being Au Pair is to immerse myself in a culture I don't know yet and to learn as much as possible about it by living with a local family. I really love to talk about every subject and share everything that can me interesting about me and my culture. My state of mind is that I really want to take a break from my sudies and do something completely different, that have sense. I don't mind having to find my own accomodation if it's not possible for the family to welcome me at home and I'm very flexible when it comes to the schedule.

My mother tongue is French. I speak English quite well, especially in writing, and I understand the language very well, but I need a little time to get used to speaking it, after which I am perfectly capable of expressing myself. I also have a basic knowledge of Spanish, which I learnt in secondary school. During my studies at INALCO, I was surrounded by people who studied Chinese, Korean and Japanese so these are languages I am used to hearing and I think I will be able to learn the basics during an immersive experience in one of these three countries.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested, it would be a pleasure to discuss with you.

Best regards,
Hanna
