I am an attentive person who is dedicated to my work, with great aspirations personally and professionally, with great goals and desires. I consider that I have a great capacity for adaptation and a fundamental level of responsibility, honesty, organization, and love for becoming a great person and a great professional. During demanding situations, I always try to remain calm and make the best decisions to minimize mistakes. I could say that I always try to learn from them when they arise.
All my family is quite large. We are approximately 50 people, we are very close to all of them, but my compact nucleus is made up of my father, mother, and older brother. Currently, I live with my parents, who are already enjoying their retirement at home. They love to go for a walk and travel to places close to the city. On the other hand, my older brother is currently a systems engineer. He works and studies in Canada with his wife. In other words, I am delighted with the beautiful family that supports me in my projects and loves me as much as I love them.
I studied Tourism and Hotel Management for five years. I worked on my career for some time, but finally, I fell in love with children and education, so I decided to focus on this new area I love. I have prepared with diplomas in early childhood and several courses of care and teaching towards children.
In my free time, I love reading, watching movies and documentaries, in addition to going to the cinema or walking on the beach. I also like pets, meet places, listen to music, play video games, and do puzzles. I want to try and learn new recipes, especially when they are desserts. Eventually, I would also like to learn how to drive.
I have gained one year of experience in a private school as an early childhood English teacher with children between the ages of 4 and 9, where I reinforced various subjects and school assignments. I have been working as a teacher in a private garden for six months with children between 3 and 7 years old. In that place, I carry out accompaniment in the dining area, teaching different words to initialize in the English language for children. In the same way, we have practiced painting, drawing, and easy experiments for children. I try to explain different topics with games for the children. I think that is an easy and fun way to learn. In addition to that, I had seven months of experience in the private care of a five years old girl. The time she dedicated to this activity was from 7 am to 5 pm. My tasks consisted of accompanying her, doing her extracurricular activities, helping her with her homework, painting sessions. In some cases, she showed me some dances and songs that she learned with her mother, I helped provide her with some snacks, and we played in our free time.
I want to be an AU pair because I love interacting with children, seeing their growth, and supporting them during this beautiful stage. I like all the different experiences that I can acquire with the children, to have a respectful relationship with the most significant values, on the other hand, I would very much like to be able to improve my level of English further. My mother tongue is Spanish; currently, my level of English is B1, in which I can have simple daily conversations. From my point of view, I can understand English very well. However, I find myself practicing the language on my own to have a better level.
My expectation of being an Au pair is to become part of a welcoming, loving family with some adorable children with whom we can understand each other very well. I hope I can learn a lot about the culture, language, gastronomy and much more. I want to contribute my knowledge in the best possible way in the care of children and the essential tasks of the home. I hope to contribute my best and thus build a beautiful relationship with my host family based on love and respect.
