Dear host family,
My name is Lizeth, but you can call me Liz. I am 24 years old and I live in Bogotá,
Colombia's capital. My mother is Martha, she is a clothing designer, she makes the best
coats and sweaters. I have two brothers, Daniela who is my younger sister and John, who
He is the oldest of the three. We are a united, sociable family and we always care about
the welfare of the other. They are my family nucleus, although I also have many uncles and
cousins, it's actually a very large family that is full of children who I love and with whom I enjoy interacting whenever I can. My older brother, for example, has an 8 year old son with whom I love to spend time whenever my brother you need to work or go on a trip with his wife. After high school I decided study Biology and it was the best and most important decision I have made, since I passionate and has taught me many things about the ways of life in the world and the nature. Being a biologist has awakened in me a fascinating passion for research and now I have the goal of continuing to grow as a professional. I am a very active girl and I have always worked overtime to pay for my studies and
I really value the opportunities. Currently, I work weekends as a waitress In an italian restaurant. During my career I have developed projects with many communities in Colombia, generally with groups of children in different territories of country, encouraging them to take care of the environment and to value and respect all forms of life. I love working with children because they know how to get the best out of me and I try to give them the best that I can. It is a very rewarding job. Furthermore, these projects with the university, between 2015 and 2018 I worked in a kindergarten helping with the care of children and developing school activities with them.
I want to be an Au Pair in Holland because I really like the country, I think its culture is
very interesting and it would be a great experience for my life. I want to know the style of
life, people's habits and understand why it is one of the most important countries of the world. Of course, I also want to improve my level of English and I know that I can do it there. achieve.
