A cheerful, patient and friendly person :)
Hello/안녕하세요/Olá/Hola!
My name is Yasmin, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Brazil.
I would describe myself as cheerful, optimistic, patient, friendly and persevering. I'm very calm, it's very difficult to make me angry. Besides that, I'm very quick to learn and fix my mistakes, you just need to tell me when something bothers you. I'm very organized too, I make lists for everything.
I have no experience working with children, but in the past I have sometimes taken care of my younger cousins. As much as I don't have qualifications I love children and they usually like me too. I learn fast and I work hard, you will not regret choosing me.
At my school I also volunteered to teach origami to younger children, it was a good experience.
I also know how to bathe a newborn and i did it twice.
My first language is Brazilian Portuguese.
I also know how to speak English, since it is a compulsory subject at school and I have been learning since I was 8 years old. But as my interest is recent, I'm still Intermediate.
I also speak a little Spanish. Sometimes I watch series with Spanish subtitles and I understand a lot of it, since it is similar to Portuguese and I had Spanish class for 1 year. My level is basic, I'm better to understand than to speak.
And lastly, I am a beginner in Korean. I can speak a few words and read 한글, since I watch Korean series and listen to Korean music for 7 years.
I am very curious to know what life is like for people in other countries. I want to know about culture, landscapes, customs, food...
I'm excited about everything, but the part I'm most looking forward to is getting to know the snow. As it doesn't snow in Brazil, I only saw snow through pictures. I love winter, so I believe I will love it.
My goals as an Au Pair are to get to know a different culture, have unique experiences and improve my English or learn other language.
