I'm a kind, outgoing bi-lingual ( Greek and English) musical theatre teacher who loves children and is interested in working as an au pair abroad.
My name is Ariadne or Aria for short. I am a 24 year old dance/ musical theatre teacher living in London. I have an enhanced DBS check.
My experience and love of working with children started at the age of 14 when I became teaching assistant at my local ballet school working with 2- 6 year olds initially. After that, I shadowed a nursery teacher who taught in Greek and English throughout the country and focused on introducing performing as a way to encourage better discipline and self esteem. Following my degree in musical theatre, I taught young children all over the UK and in Cyprus and then took on a 9 month contract as an animator , entertainer at a TUI resort. At the resort I looked after and led group based activities with mostly Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish children throughout the day despite the fact I was the only English/ Greek speaking person on the team.
My baby sitting experience extends to looking after family friends's children as well as my younger cousins for years. I can cook , clean and I've had my driver's license for 5 years. I also have no problem doing some housework for you and tidying for the children's toys etc. I feel that my greatest strength as a nanny is entertaining children while keeping them disciplined, happy and most importantly loved.
