Dear Host Family,
My name is Nelyn F. Lacandula, 24 years old. I graduated with my Bachelor of Elementary Education major in General Education last April 2016. Currently teaching in a private school here in the Philippines. I have two Sister Lynette 23 years old and our youngest is Jaynelyn 15 years old.
I can be an aupair and a tutor at the same time. I have handled elementary students age 7 - 10 years old for 5 months during my practical teaching days. After I graduated I applied in a private school and get hired until now I teaching children ages 4 to 12 years old Nursery to Elementary students. Also I had experience of taking care of a kids and baby sitted of my cousin's babies during my vacation in school my duties are to help the kids daily in the morning to prepare their breakfast, guide my niece's to wear their clothes, i look and played on them for short time.After that i go to grocery shop just to buy a foods that i will cook for their dinner.
I'm also capable in doing daily household chores, I'm well organized & I always make sure that things are kept tidy. I can help you in your daily tasks such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, folding & ironing of clothes/linen, I can wash the dishes & do grocery shopping.
I describe myself as a honest person, reliable, friendly and trustworthy hardworking and responsible person ,and kind. I like playing outdoor games, listening music , I love to piant nature also and adventuring.I also like watching movies. spending free time with friends and discovering new places.
I want to experience a 4 season which are the Autumn, Spring, Summer and Winter because in the Philippines we dont have Winter it was my childhood wildest dream up to now to play with snow and do a sculpture of snowman.
I want to be an au pair because I want to experience the culture of other countries I am an eager candidate to learn new things, new culture, new language also to meet new people outside my country and to get more knowledge, get more skill at the same time to gain more experience in life.
it will help me in becoming the better me because it will really test how strong I am as a person because I will be away from my family. Aside from that I want to take good care of my future host family in my own ways. Throughout this experience I know I can learn a lot from the family and really looking forward to have a memorable memories with them.
