Elise, 22, Summer nanny / au pair from France
Hello,
My name is Elise, I am a 22yo French student and I am looking for a host family for this Summer for a couple of weeks or months. I've always been around children and I also have been an au pair 3 years ago. I loved the experience and would love to repeat the experience. I am available in July + August + beginning of September.
Only thing is that I must attend a wedding and must go back to my hometown within the weekend.
I was born in a family of 5. As I am the littlest one, I am lucky to already be an aunty : I have 3 nephews and 1 niece.
I have left my family in 2015 when I graduated from highschool and started my studies. I moved to 2 other towns in France, to the UK, and then to Lebanon ! I am always enjoying time when I come back to my home town.
I graduated from highschool in 2015, started to study mathematics, but changed my mind because I found a fied that suits me much better : linguistics.
I am curently studying general linguistics, in order to do a master degree in linguistic informatics.
My experience with children :
I have been taking care of kids for a long time.
I have 4 nephews (8, 6, 4, 1 yo) and I am very often looking after them.
I was an au pair in London for 10 months in 2016-2017. I was looking after 3 children : 8, 11 and 12 yo. I was also helping with duties (ironing, cleaning).
For 2 years (2017-2019), while I was studying in France, I was a babysitter for a family with 2 kids (a 4 year-old boy and a newborn baby).
Every Summer and sometimes also in half term breaks, I work as a group leader with children or teenagers in Summer camps.
I am also now a godmother and so glad that I have been chosen to be the godmother of such an adorable little baby boy.
I have already been an au pair and I want to repeat the experience. I loved my au pair year in the UK, everything was going well with my hostkids and hostparents. We loved each other and I am grateful I have found such a nice family. I am sure there are many other wonderful hostfamilies all around the world and I hope I will find one !!
Even if this time it is not for long term, I know that now I have gained in experience and maturity, and I can make out the most of my au pair stay.

- TRAVELING ! I am a traveler !!! I am always going around with my backpack to discover new countries and cultures. I have moved to Lebanon for my studies and visited many countries for the past 3 or 4 years : UK, Ireland, FInland, Romania, Moldova, Turkia, Lebanon, Grece, Cyprus, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia....
- singing : I love to sing, I was singing in a choir with 2000 other singers.
- arts : I like manual activities such as painting and drawing. I used to take art classes.
- rock climbing and hiking
