Au Pair from Philippines, 30, looking for a sweet and nice host family starting 25 of February.
Dear Host Family,
I am already very excited about getting to know you. But, first of all, I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Dianne Blythe Fernandez, 30 years old and from the province of Bohol in Philippines. Graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I come from a family of 6: My parents, Crisanta (56), a retired registered nurse and Armando (60) a truck driver. I have 1 sister and 2 brothers. My elder sisters Bianca (32) she just passed the board exam as secondary school teacher last November 2019 and she has a daughter, Princess Sophia (12) currently attending the 7th grade of secondary school. My younger brothers Allanjellie (24) is a licensed Caregiver, and Brian (22) a licensed Physical Therapist. We have got 10 dogs, which my mom loves to play and cuddle all day. Overall, we are a pretty large family.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. As part of my university studies in nursing, I spent my internship period working in children's ward in every hospital that my school was affiliated. Taking care of the sick children and took part in recreational indoor activities: we sang, danced, drew and narrated stories. At age 12, I have helped my parents look after my 2 younger brothers for they need to travel abroad for work and to sustain our needs. I do the household chores, cooked our food, do the laundry, help them do their homework and spent time with them on weekends, sister and brothers bonding time. At age 17, I also help my sister in taking care of my niece for her to work.I was nevertheless much more involved in caring for her daily basis. She spends a lot of time in her grandparents (fathers' side) I can comfortably say that I sincerely enjoy spending time with children. I've been an aupair in: Denmark (August 2014- August 2016) with a family of 4: My host parents: Chistian (kind-hearted dad) and Signe (sweet and loving mom) and my sister and brother to another mother: Anton (5) and Laura (10). I love them so much. They're so sweet, loving and understanding despite the language barrier with the kids, I find a way on how to communicate for us to understand each other.I also organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities: we sang, danced, play UNO, painted and soccer. We sometimes go out for dinner, going to places that I never been like skagen. And in Norway ( October 2016- January 2018) with a multinational family: My host parents: Laurent (French dad) and Katinka (norwegian mom) and my brother, Martin 3yrs.old and my sister Marianne 8yrs.old. Due to parents work and the kids' activities, we don't get along to each other. I'm more focus in household chores (cooked foods, laundry, deliver and pick up Martin to school and to his activities. Marianne is independent, she only need me sometimes to deliver her to ballet class in winter time and sometimes pick her up. For the past 4 years, I took care of children of all ages from different families. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. I realize despite the nationality differences, I have found out that we can get along easily for I love my host kids and how much fun it is to have younger sister and brother.
