Hello. My name is Amanda and I have had five years of nannying experience. I am looking to start January 2021 and stay until April 2021 I have taken care of children from the age of 6 months until teen years. I am excellent with any kids because I have high amounts of energy. I am doing a mission trip to help kids in Jamaica this year. I have a kind heart with a passion for the worlds youth. I am a fun, loving person who likes adventure. I work hard for what I have and I am determined to anything I put my mind to. I am always looking for new experiences and ways to get exposure to something new. I am a loyal, and dependable person. I take work seriously and I make sure I do the best of my ability at it. No task is too hard to accomplish for me. I always have a smile on my face and I am easy to talk to. I am a very extroverted person so that being said I like talking to people and being around people as well as being part of social. I am a confident person that has a big, kind heart.
I have a pretty great family. I have one younger sister and my parents have been married for almost 25 years. We are from Denver Colorado in the United States. My mom is a middle school teacher and my dad works in telecom. We are very close with her extended family including aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Family is very important to me and I make sure I make time for family. We love to go out and do things together such as hiking and trying new things. I have many friends from my university. I enjoy going to do things with them such as going to the movies, trying new restaurants, or trying new experiences. I also attended many events that happened at my university with friends. I have a great group that is supportive and always there for me. I also have a boyfriend. We have been together for a year and a half and we met while we were in school.
I go to Lindenwood University in Missouri, United States. I am a double major in marketing and business management. I have had two marking internships and I am also doing part-time work for social media marketing. I will graduate in 3 1/2 years with two bachelor degrees. I am also into a lot of different leadership opportunities. I helped start the leadership development program at my university by creating leadership series for students to come and learn about a variety of topics and also creating the lunch with leaders Wehrer alumni come and share what post college life looks like in the workforce. I also worked to earn my elevate leadership certificate by completing a variety of tasks that include campus engagement, personal development, professional development and civic engagement. To fulfill civic engagement I volunteered with an organization that had playtime for kids with disabilities. I have gotten a lot out of my time at my university and I am very thankful for the opportunities.
I have five years of nannying experience. I started when the kids were young and now they are the ages of four and eight. I would cook and clean for the family and I would take the kids out during the summer to go do summer activities. I enjoy being with them and doing fun things with them. I've also been babysitting since I was 11 years old. I have volunteered in the past with an organization that allows kids with disabilities to play sports for a day. This was a really rewarding volunteer opportunity I got to do because it made me happy to see them happy. I also am doing a service trip to Jamaica where I am helping kids in schools. I have always loved working with kids because they have so many laughs and smiles to bring. They are the future of the world and I believe that's why they are so important. I really enjoy getting to know kids and doing fun things with them.
