Hi there!

I'm Leah - a young Au Pair ready for adventure. I have tons of energy and am always in the mood for excursions, art, and bike rides. I'm affectionate, loving, and I use the "positive parenting" approach (meaning I do not hit or yell).
I have worked for 2 summers at a summer camp (a group of 8-9-year-old boys and 6-7-year-old girls). I have also taught English as a Second Language to Spanish-speaking children, tutored Mathematics and English, babysat, and worked as a coordinator for an afterschool program. To say the least, I love children. They bring a fresh perspective to life.

I also like to cook, dance, and spend time taking walks on the beach or in parks. I am flexible and open-minded, and ready to work as a team with your family to support and love your child. Working with children is something I take seriously, yet also I tend to be silly sometimes ;).

Because I'm young, I find it really easy to connect to kids. I am also a nerd for child psychology and have read numerous books and articles regarding child behavior.

I am working on making myself more active and have been spending more time in the gym and outside lately.

I am an introvert and enjoy quiet, reflective time to myself but can also be very friendly. I work on making people feel comfortable around me and can often be seen with a smile :)
