Nanny/ au pair from France called Alexia, 18, would like to share the daily life of an Icelandic family for a period of 2 month.

I would like to make an Au Pair stay in Iceland, because on the one hand in the near future, after my studies I would like to settle in Iceland and work there as a teacher of French in a foreign language. This stay will allow to better know the country, and to know how people live, to know the local population. I could also improve my mastery of the English language. I also like to work and be with children. This will bring me great professional experience.
I would like during this trip to learn more about the culture, language and way of living Iceland, and I can share mine with you, if you want (I am French) it would be with great pleasure.

I never had the opportunity to be an au pair before because of my young age, because I am 18 years old and now I have the opportunity to do so. Never having been an au pair, should not be an opposite because is there a start to everything? I think so.
You should know that I really like working and being with children, since I would like to work as a teacher.
I already did an internship in a nursery school in a class of twenty children, which comforted me at the idea of working with children. I have also babysitting before.

I am someone who is quite open to sports and activities. I like cycling, going to the swimming pool, I have long been horse riding, but it was only leisure. I did some roller skating competitions. Sometimes with my family, we hike, while picking chestnuts.

In terms of my passions, it's quite varied. I would not say that they are passions, but rather hobbies. I like to draw, paint, write stories, or poems. I love to cook, my mother gave my sister and I the pleasure of cooking. I prefer to cook, rather than eating in a restaurant or fast food, we do not find the same flavor, as food made by yourself. Well, sometimes, I admit, I miss dishes, but we learn from our mistakes, and we improve.
I also read when I have the time, but right now I should rather read books imposed by my current license. I also play video games when I have time.
