Au Pair from England named Lily, 21, looking to care for a child from a lovely family starting January 2020.

My name is Lily, I am a 21 year old graduate from England who adores children and is looking to spend some time with a family in a different country. I feel that every child should be provided with a care free environment that allows them to learn, flourish and be as happy as possible. I would love to help your family ensure this by caring for and supporting your child.

Over the past five years I have accumulated a lot of childcare experience. Having cared for children between 5 months and ten years old, I feel very well equipped to deal with the various needs your child will have. I have babysat since I was 14 and at the age of 16 I began working in a children's guide camp here in England. With the guides I enjoyed several weekend trips away, on which I was responsible for the children's safety and entertainment. In 2016 I volunteered for a month in India teaching children English and this year I spent two months in Indonesia caring for babies and toddlers, feeding, bathing and playing with them. With all of this experience, I believe that combining my love of travel with my passion for children will be very fulfilling for me.

I am from a city near Manchester in the north of England. I recently graduated with a degree in Criminology from Nottingham Trent University and prior to that, I enjoyed studying psychology, history, English and philosophy at school. I'm a very social and active person so I love to spend quality time with friends and family, and I usually combine that with my love of coffee. My main passion in life is travelling and immersing myself in new cultures, meeting as many people from different walks of life as I can. I have travelled to Indonesia, America, India and have spent time living in Canada as well. I'm a very independent person and adapt really quickly to new surroundings so I love spending a long period of time in a new place and really getting to know it well. Another hobby of mine is reading. My favourite author is Ian McEwan because I find his storylines captivating whilst also being educational, and evolving my vocabulary is important to me.
