Dear Family, Hello!

My name is Malaysia and I am writing to introduce myself and to tell you why I would like to be an au pair and why you should choose me.

My full name is Malaysia Lekorere Joyline, but everyone calls me Mal. I am 23 years old and I live in Rumuruti, a small town near Nanyuki, in Kenya. I like the town where I live, it isn't so big but you can find everything you need. I live there with my parents and my siblings in our own home.
I moved to Nairobi the capital of Kenya for my university education which I graduated 21st July 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in information technology.
I was fortunate enough to have 7 siblings and 4 step siblings which gave me the possibilities to look after my siblings and other children in my area. I love to spend my time with children and try to see the world through their eyes.
I started to look after children at the age of 10 years. At that time I started to look after my sister and brother while my mum goes to fetch water and firewood.
I had to prepare a small evening meal when I get back from school to help my mum and also if she is not around, I make sure that my young brother goes to bed and I had to be careful that the two don't argue.
I would be really grateful if you'll give me the chance to learn more about your culture which is my greatest wish.
My hobbies are going to the gym, listening to music and doing creative stuff like writing or drawing. I also like watching movies and musicals a lot.
There are several reasons why I want to become an Au Pair. The most important reason of course is that I like children. I love them, because they represent all the innocence which we lost growing up. I love seeing how they develop and learn new things every day. I would describe myself as a very friendly, cheerful, reliable and open-minded person. According to my friends I have a good sense of humor.
I love to laugh and make other people laugh too.
I would love to be a big sister to your children.
I would be really excited to live with you for one year or two if possible and get the chance to make new experiences.
