Letter to the family
Dear Host Family,

My name is Ritta Kinyua. I am a young woman from Kenya and I want to become an AU Pair for your family. To introduce myself, I am writing to tell you about myself and my experiences with children.

Here in Kenya, I live together with my Mother Magret, my 2 older sister Mercy, and younger brother, 3-year-old niece Mya. I come from a little developing village called Kamulu. We live in a house with a small garden aside.
My mother works as a saleslady, my 2 older sisters work as a waitress in different hotels in Kenya.
My family is very important to me, and I love them so much that words can`t explain. We spend a lot of time in communication, events and small trips.
And also it is very important for me that they support my future plan to be an AU Pair.

I have been dreaming of getting an AU Pair family. I learned about the AU Pair Program because there were people from "EF" at my College who told us about the Culture Care.
At this moment I know, I want to be an AU Pair, because I love and adore children and what to live together and have a good friendship and relationship to them. Also, I want to improve my Languages Career and learn a different kind of cultures and traditions, and also hope my dream come true.

I describe myself as an open-minded, very friendly, organized, loyal, humble, self-disciplined and faithful person. Also, since responsibility is very very important for me.I`m a helpful person, who laughs very often and a smile has never lacked on my face.

At the moment, I work as a front office lady,am also doing my B1 certificate on German Course also completing my training on Early Childhood Development Programm.
In my free time, I read a lot of books because my niece loves storytime reading, I also like dancing, cooking family meals, picnic and music.
I love and enjoy most when I`m together with Kids, it makes me very happy to talk, laugh and play with them. I made my greatest experience with children as a leader in a volunteer small nursery school from a catholic church.
Where I helped in safe playing with the kids, singing, riding bikes, talking nature walks, learning, taking care of the sick child and feeding them. And I really had the most amazing time of my life getting to know them personally and them looking up to me as there role model.

Although it gave me some trouble and some children fought, but this is normal by the work and life with children.
When I will be in your family for one year, I hope we will all have a good and great time, much fun and a good everyday life with your children, learn much about your culture and improve my language skills.

I am sure, my host family and I have an unforgettable year full of fun, love, care and good communication. Also, we can learn much about different cultures from each other.

I wish you a great day and thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little bit better. I hope you like my letter and my Application. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely,
Ritta...
