My name is Krizzane, 24, applying for a Nanny/Au pair and looking for a kind family. I am from the Philippines and can start as early as January.

My name is Krizzane, but my friends call me Zane. I am 24 years old and a secondary teacher in a prestigious University here in the Philippines.
I am a jolly, friendly, and have a habit of making people comfortable- kind of person. I am the eldest among my siblings and have somehow in some way taken the responsibility of standing as their second parent. Just a little background of our state of life here in the Philippines; My mom is an Overseas Filipino Worker in Hong Kong who has worked all her life trying to make our ends meet every month, and my Dad is a stay home dad who takes care of my siblings. Margiewin, my second sister who is 16 years old is currently studying in a public secondary school and my youngest sister named Wendi Ghia, 6 years old is also currently studying in a primary school here in our country.
Given this kind of set up in our lives, I as the oldest have taken the responsibility of being the breadwinner in the family. With my not so enough salary as a secondary teacher, I am task to budget for my siblings' tuition fee and daily needs in school and at home. I am very much flexible with light and heavy household chores because I am used to it I do it almost every day. I can also cook and prepare healthy snacks because that has been my routine for my siblings. I can say that I am a very patient person because in situations like this, it is a must to know the art to bear and go on in life to survive.
During my college years, since it has always been a dream for me to study in a prestigious University, I have sought a lot of options and finally was lucky enough to be granted a working student scholarship at Saint Mary's University. For the span of 5 years I have worked for 4 hours every day as a Student Assistant and on the weekends, I have worked as a maid for my college professor to suffice for my allowance for the week. With these experiences I can say that I am a survivor because I am a full pledge educator now, but I know in my heart that being a teacher is not my end goal.
I enrolled the course, Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English and Literature, not just because of my immense love for literature and language but also because of my pursuit to educate young people. I have always loved children and will always love working and learning with them. In lined with this, I have handled different age bracket of students ranging from a child (5 years old) to an adult (50 years old). I have taught different students from different cultures like Koreans, Japanese, and British because I have worked in an ESL Company before that caters me to train them in achieving English proficiency. But now, I am currently employed in my Alma Mater and also currently handling Grades 7 to 9 students with a number of 45-50 students in a classroom. I have not just worked with students but also with the different personalities of their parents with all their bags of appreciations, gratitudes, and complaints. Yes, I admit that it is hard but I would say that these have all been a wonderful learning experience.
But why do I like to be an Au Pair? You may ask. Well, who does not? As a Filipino, the simple thought of working abroad, knowing other culture and language, mingling with other people and imbibing their ways, has always been a consoling thought or a saving grace rather. That's why you should give me a chance to be your Au Pair and serve you because I am someone who is mature, candid and who has integrity. Every day I know I will work to improve myself and my skills, which is part of maturing and becoming better at what I do. I hope to hear from you soon. Best regards.
~Zane
