Au Pair from Colombia, 23, looking for a new family to join, starting from December 2019!
Hi family, Nice to meet you. My name is Natalia Cortés but actually my friends and people that's really close to me by Nata. I was born in Bogotá Colombia but I currently living in Charleston, SC, USA. I have 23 years old and I live with my actual host family with whom I have been 9 months.
I finished my high school in the Colegio Parroquial Santiago Apostol de Funza (A very long name) with honors and with the highest ratings in 2012. I studied Acting in Casa E Academy, I took courses in commercial locution and radio, voiceover, clown, theatrical improvisation. I took a diplomat in Cultural administration and strategic management. I participated as an actress in some academic short films here in Colombia, also they nominated me for best actress and I won Now I have many expectative of starting my career in marketing and continue my way as actress.
I have plenty of hobbies, if you ask me. I really like to explore new things that I haven't done before, I really enjoy having new experiences. Basically, I go to the theater, watch movies and documentary films, I like to read and I took Arabic dance classes, I like dance rhythms of my country, urban dance, bachata, salsa among other ones. As well I really enjoy practicing trekking and cycling. I like to write down my thoughts, I love photography and I recently bought a camera to capture every significant moment in my life. When I studied theater, I used to practice yoga.
I also have a special feeling with kids, I get to easily connect with them since I really enjoy playing and caring for others since they have been a great help for my personal and professional growth.
I was a theater teacher for children for a year and a half. We worked on comedy shows, musicals and they created their own stories and were the authors for them. Our classes were very funny, we played, sang, danced, and all the time we were learning together. Also I have been a nanny before. I have taken care of my sister since she was born and when our parents aren't at home with us.
I am taking care of 4 host kids, they are 12, 10, 3 and 1 years old. My kids are very sweet and good children, we are great accomplices and we support each other whenever we need it.
My au pair responsibilities are: Prepare the bottles and feeding the baby, fulfill baby's nap, change diapers, create activities for the children, baths, pick up kids from school or bus stop, prepare snacks, breakfast, lunch and dinner, take them to classes or activities, vacuuming, laundry, clean bathroom, fold and put away clothes, change beds, prepare the little girl for school, help to maintain the kitchen clean.

I would be the perfect match because I can give my new family the confidence that their children are safe with me. I am a responsible and patient person to carry out the development of children in the best and fun way.
I consider myself an excellent roomie, why?
My mom and I work cleaning together, she taught me everything that I know on order to become a responsible and hardworking woman so when I face the world I can handle it for myself. I know wash clothes, wash the dishes, clean the bathroom, vacuum, clean windows in the house, shake the dust, make my bed, and keep the house organized .
The main reason I want to be Au Pair is to know other places, people and learning other cultures different than mine, enrich myself with new knowledge, keeping memories and have experiences worth living, and as I told you improve myself as a person and learning from others specifically kids that I believe are the ones that can teach us the most.
This is a new opportunity to fulfill my dream for traveling but it will also give the opportunity to study and learn, that way I can save to continue with my university studies and what a great chance to learn from children and their pure heart and innocence that motivates me every day to become a better person.
