Dear Host Family,

Thank you for taking time to read my letter.

My name is Jane Marie and I am 27 years old from the Queen of South, Cebu, Philippines. I graduated as Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, I worked in a hotel as restaurant cashier. I am kind person, patient, responsible, reliable, trustworthy, caring, loving, organize, outgoing, active, fun, helpful, thoughtful, cheerful and most of all God fearing.
I had a 23 year old sister, and she has her own work already. My parents were separated, my mother was an OFW ( Domestic Helper) since 2002 in Middle East until 2017. As the eldest, it was my responsibility to watched over my sister, I took care of her, I woke her up, dressed and fed her, went to school together, taught her to read, write, count, helped her making the assignments, we played hide and seek and more fun things and we do love each other so much. I experienced taking good care of my cousins and godchildren ages from one to twelve years old, I also taught them sing, dance, read, draw, story telling, playing games, outdoor activities, asking questions and make a quick test if they have incoming exams. I do really love kids they are my stress reliever. When their birthdays or Christmas is coming I prepared simple presents for the children, feeding program for them. Happiness is seeing your children smile and a child's smile is worth more than all the money in the world, the next big thing is to know that you are the reason behind that smile and that is why children are close to my heart.
At home, I have duties and chores to do such as cleaning, cooking light meals, laundry, shopping and home maintenance even in my workplace before I used to clean and helped my collegues do the chores like serving the guests, sweeping, wiping the doors and windows in the restaurant I worked without being told. I would love to be your next Au Pair because I am prepare and aware that being an eldest sister for your children comes along with responsibilities, living with me is easy and I will follow your rules. I am also eager to learn your languages, discover your cultures, have the adventure of a lifetime, I want to travel more, explore new things, see the wonders of the world, meet new people, friends and especially my awesome host family. I will adapt to the new tasks and become a big help for you.
