Hello Future Host Family! I'm Maria Concepcion, 22 years of age. I am currently in the Philippines. You can call me "Cion" because that's what everyone call me. I am single and I don't have any children so I will definitely have my full attention to your children.
I already have experience taking care of children from 0-12. I've been a babysitter for family, relatives and family friends I grew up taking care of my nieces and nephews since I was 12. It is where I learned loads of patience. Way back by high school and college days I would help the kids to take a bath, dress them, cook breakfast, prepare their things for school and walk them to school before going to University since kindergarten and grade school is walking distance from our home. At night I would tutor them, I would explain further their lessons at school and help them with their homework and assist them on their school projects. On weekends, I keep the kids entertained by playing games, dance, singing, play movies and telling stories. Now, I also help my sister take care of her 5 year old kid (a girl) on weekends. I keep her occupied on weekends by playing with her, dancing and teaching and at night I will tell stories and put her to bed.
I also love pets especially dogs. I have 2 dogs named Blaite and Kabang. I am the one who bath them, feed them take them for a walk. If you have a pet I would also love to take care of it.
Aside from caring and being responsible with kids and pets, I also know how to do household chores: cooking basic meals and washing dishes. I am also good in housekeeping like cleaning the house, cleaning the kids room and organizing the toys. You won't have any problem with me around the house. My hobbies are reading books and watching movies. I love seeing new places and I dream to travel someday. I also love strolling at the park. I can also bring your pet dog with me. I can also play badminton although I'm not really that great. I don't smoke and I don't drink. Regarding food I'm not a picky eater. I eat anything edible. I am very nice, friendly, approachable, independent, caring and responsible person. I am also flexible, committed, trustworthy and positive person.
I want to become an Au Pair because I believe it's a great opportunity to learn more about different cultures, to learn new languages, to meet and connect with different people from all over the globe. Also, being an Au Pair means sharing also my language and culture to my host family especially kids.
