My name is Teresa and I am 23 years old from Nairobi, Kenya.I live with my mum and my 2 younger siblings.You can expect from me a good listener , easy, understanding, respectful and a hardworking person.I love to communicate with people from all over the world and learn new culture and language.I enjoyed the experience a lot for 4 years for a sweet Lebanese family with young parents and 3 sweet children ages 3 to 13 years.
In Lebanon,I used to be in the company of children at most times.After house chores in my free time,I used to take them ride bicycle, play badminton, swing in the pool,go to the cinema and going to amusement parks.We also used to do outdoor and recreational activities .We sang,danced, role-played, painted and narrated stories.
In Africa, it's always a cultural thing to take care of younger siblings or relatives and at times in our neighborhoods.Whenever schools close,I grab the opportunity to take my nieces and nephews aged between 5 to 13 years to the park and it's always a memorable time.
I also help in babysitting my elder sisters 7 months old baby.I also help take care of my neighbours children aged 2 to 4 years whenever I can.I am always surrounded by children and life would definitely be boring without them.
The reason I want to be an Au-Pair ist that I would like to experience a different culture and lifestyle.Most importantly it would be a great experience and opportunity to bond with you and your children as I take care of them.
