Dear Host Family,

I am very excited about getting to know you. But first, I would like to introduce myself to you.

My name is Kristine Argarin. I am 25 years old and from the province of Batangas in Philippines. With my parents, Efren (49) and Anita (64), and my Sister Shara (24), I am living in a house that is in an area full of nature. We have got 5 dogs a Husky, Chowchow and Shitzu who love to cuddle all day. My father works as a Hog Raiser in our small farm, my mother is a Housewife. Shara is currently working as a Customer Service Representative in the City near us. Overall, we are a pretty large family.

I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person, who tries to make the best out of every situation. I like spending time with my friends; they are – as well as my family – very important to me. Always trying to help, I'm always there for them if they need me.

In my free time, I like to listen to music, go shopping or playing with our dogs. Furthermore, I enjoy reading a good book and singing – even though I cannot sing.

At the moment, I work in Metro Manila as Account Manager, i enjoy this job very much, because I am able to bond with many of my clients and customer.

Four years ago, I also work in the city with my sister. Before joining the company, I completed my Second year in the college i took Bs in Operation Management in a public University.
For the past ten years, I took care of children of all ages from different families. I became very close to them and I cherish the time I have spent with them. When my sister was younger, I also took care of her, when our mom was working. Through this time, I have found out how much fun it is to have children around, I can't imagine a life without them.

The reason why I want to go to be an au pair is that I want to get to know the way of life as well as different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children. And of course, it would be great to improve my language skills as well.

I hope we can develop a good relationship, working and living together as a family. I would be very happy to experience an eventful year with you and your kids. I am looking forward to talking to you.
